hi there Sorry to send this directly, but java-linux.org doesn't seem to exist anymore....... I am lost...... hw: Sparc/Linux 1.0.9 Ultra/10 Sun machine...256meg memory RedHat 5.0 problem: Following the readme.linux instructions, I unpacked into /SDK-1.1.6/ Set up a link to /SDK-1.1.6/bin/java....then enter: $ java java was not found in /jdk1.1.6/bin/../bin/sparc64/green_threads/java As you see, it does not work.... I looked through the java script and see it is looking for a bunch of jar files, rt.jar, class.jar, etc. The sparc kit does not have them! Could that be the error? The is an 8MEG classes.zip in ./lib Also, if I try to run the executable, which is not recommended, I get an error: ./java: can't load library 'libjava.so' I do see it in ./lib along with a bunch of others.... I am lost.....
