This is not a bug.
I think that you can't use the Jdbc-Odbc bridge from linux for two
reasons:
1. Linux don't support Odbc.
2. Jdbc-Odbc bridge is not a net-driver (type 3 or 4 driver)
and you can use it only on local Pc.
