I just got it this morning, it was something like
/pub/redhat/updates/5.0/SRPMS/. I'm installing it now (from source),
so I hope it works. It includes the 2.0.6 version of the crypt
libraries, but as far as I can tell, that's the newest available.

In the Java-Linux FAQ, it says there's a problem with ld.so-1.9.9.
Has this been superseded - is the problem really with glibc-2.0.6, and
not ld.so-1.9.9? I tracked down an older version of ld.so, but I'm
going to see if the newer glibc fixes the core dumps before installing
the older ld.so.
