All we did was unjar the jdk1.2beta classes.zip and then jar up all the org/omg stuff into a new archive. Put the new archive in your $CLASSPATH and you've got a "free" CORBA implementation. So far, we've experienced no problems with it; it even runs fine using the shuJIT just-in-time compiler. We did have problems using it with TYA, however :( If you want, I can email you our "corba.jar" file. It is based on the org/omg stuff extracted from a jdk1.2beta4 classes.zip file for Windows NT.
