I'm not on this mailing list, but there's a problem which y'all ought to know about. I was running jdk-1.1.6sn-1.1glibc.i386.rpm as packaged by Levente Farkas. I'm running RedHat release 5.1. I have a program which fetches HTTP or FTP files using java.net.URLConnection. It fails for FTP fetches only when I'm using this RPM. It works as expected with jdk1.1.6 under Windows/NT, and it works as expected with jdk1.1.5 under RedHat 5.1. Therefore I can only conclude that there's a problem with this RPM. Levente, the packager, thinks the problem is in the port.
