Here at work we've discovered that certain things (including some
commercial products) break under 1.1.6 and are just fine under 1.1.5,
and this is with the Solaris/Win32 first tier support versions.  I'm not
suprised if that problem carries over to the Linux port.  They must have
changed something fundemental in 1.1.6 over the previous 1.1.x code.

The only thing in the 1.1.6 CHANGES file that I see could maybe break stuff
is the "PERFORMANCE...ENHANCEMENTS"  *shrug*
