Truely excellant news!  I've been using jikes for a while now and have
been very impressed by its speed (even when the incremental compile
option was disabled), but have been worried that IBM might decide to
junk it, sell it for huge amounts of money, etc.  Now with this
annnouncement, jikes is definitely worth a look for anyone doing java
development.

(Dare I say it... Hooray for IBM :-)
