This is a good idea but it has several downsides:
1. People with limited bandwidth probably don't want the extra space
required for the instructions tacked onto every email, especially with
the volume of messages on this list.
2. There are still people who don't have Web access but do have email
therefore the link idea won't work for everyone.
I think it might be a better idea for the confirmation email that you
get when you subscribe to contain the instructions. I don't know if
that is possible with the mailing list software used by Blackdown or
not? Then if someone losses their instructions, simply send a civilized
message to the list asking for help unsubscribing. I for one don't mind
getting messages like this occasionally as long as they are not rants
and will try to help someone out.
