Modal Dialog bug.

Hi,
  Has anyone experience a problem with AWT dialog and Swing JDialog with
jdk 1.1.6v2 libc5. All my dialog hang the machine on closing if I've set
modal to true.  They worked fine in 1.1.5v7.
