I have a couple of questions, one Linux-specific, one not. 1. Has anyone written simple instructions on how to extract the Java2 ORB and retrofit it into JDK 1.1.7 on Linux? Or does anyone have any experience in this area they would like to share? Do I need to use idl2java from Visibroker (I downloaded idl2java from javasoft, before realizing it was a Windows native executable :-( ) On a related point, will Java2 for Linux, when it appears, contain a native Linux idl2java? 2.
