It would become a matter of law as soon as an interested party chose to make it
one by taking it to court. If you'd like your name (and your legal bills)
associated with the possibility of setting precedent around this matter, then go
ahead and violate a license you've signed electronically. Frankly, I think such
behavior would cause much damage and little good, and would poison the well for
a lot of interesting open-source activity that's going on.
