Hi, I'm having a problem in connecting with my server RMI from an applet througth a firewall. I tried to open the 1099 port but I got different messages of error. >From security error to time-out it depends on where is the PC I'm connecting. I tried to open all ports too, but nothing appened. If I try to connect behind the firewall all is ok. I have read that if RMI can't make a direct connection it attempts via HTTP, but I can't understand how. Can you explain me more ? Have you some source code to study ? How can I lookup my RemoteObject via http ? Thank in advance and apologize me for my english. Ciao Massimo
