IBM did not use Sun or Microsoft's VM for NT based applications. Do you
think a corporation like IBM would want to trust it's Application Server
on Blackdown? I of course think they could and have ever confidence in
Blackdown but I am not IBM and I can't see how they would. They didn't
for NT based stuff. But then again, they do ship Apache with Websphere
so maybe their attitudes have really changed. I suspect that BEA has not
ported Weblogic to Linux because of it's reluctance to use Blackdown's
VM.

Again I dunno. This is hard to say. They did not do this with NT based
apps. They went and created their own VM (alebit a much worse one).

I guess we will have to wait and see.

        Justin.
