This sounds stupid, because this question has been asked AND answered on
this list before (and now, thousands of people STILL ask this
question)...
1. READ the list you're going to mail to and scan for your question, it
has often already been answered.
2. Get bzip2 for your linux distribution - most distributions have
packages. For example for Debian GNU/Linux 2.1, try
ftp://ftp.de.debian.org and get
/pub/debian/dists/slink/main/binary-i386/util/bzip2_0.9.0c-2.deb
If you're still not luky, try ftpsearch on "bzip2"
Then run "cat filename.tar.bz2|bunzip2|tar xvf -" or simply try
"tar xIvf filename.tar.bz2" if your tar is a recent version.
