   If you have downloaded the .bz2 version of the file, and 
   you have bunzip2 installed on your system, the equivalent tar command
   is:

       tar xvIf jdk1.2.tar.gz   # whatever the file is called
                         [^^^ Typo -- should be .bz2 of course.]
