Hello, I am running jdk1.1.6v2 compiled for libc5 on Red Hat Linux release 3.0.3 (Picasso). When I use the TextField or the TextArea, I can't get '<'. When I press '<' key, what I get is '>'. If I use '>', then I do get '>'. Does anyone know where this problem comes from? The problem occurs in jdk1.1.5 also, and doesn't go away even if I turn on 'DYN_JAVA'. I am using/programming Motif toolkits, and I don't get this problem when I run my Motif programs.
