I'm running into problems using jar from the 1.2 pre-release. Oddly
enough, the problems are confined to jar itself, the rest of the jdk
works fine (at least, the parts I've used).
I get the following error:
/usr/local/jdk/bin/i686/native_threads/jar: error in loading shared
libraries
libhpi.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
The files exist in:
/usr/local/jdk/jre/lib/i386/green_threads/libhpi.so
/usr/local/jdk/jre/lib/i386/native_threads/libhpi.so
Telling LD to preload the files (LD_PRELOAD) doesn't work. I've been
watching the list and haven't seen this come up, and it isn't in the bug
reports for 1.2 either... so has anyone else seen this? Any ideas?
