i am using jacorb with quite good results, even if there are some
functionalities that are missing.... (but the most important for me is there:
it's 100% java nad GPL'd)

to be able to use it without major problems i unjarred the rt.jar and removed
the sun corba implementation that didn't stop from clashing with jacorb...

after that all is fine....

jacorb comes with an idl2java compiler, with a nameserver etc... after a
problem with jacorb i tryed to use orbacus (free for non commercial use) but
found it way more complicated to use than jacorb....
