Hi, I have realized after many agonizing hours that some of my problem is really due to Kaffe. I'm currently running RedHat 5.2 and I downloaded JDK preview v1. I set the PATH variable to point to "/usr/jdk1.2/bin". However, this does not prevent Kaffe VM to kick in if I simply type "java ......" in the command line. I have to type "/usr/jdk1.2/bin/java......", instead. I'm new to Linux. Is there any way I can make the JDK 1.2 VM as the default? Thanks.
