jdk1.2 awt problems

When i am trying 

ln -s /usr/lib/libstdc++-lib6.0-1.so.2 -> /usr/lib/libstdc++.so 

i am getting an error that the last argument must be a directory.

Please help me because jdk1.2 doesn't run.
