Mike,
In my experience the Sun bug reporting system does not work well. I stopped using it
since I was just burning cycles and getting annoyed.
I even had a generic defect returned as 'user error' which the Blackdown folks
has already diagnosed and fixed and supplied the defect line number for me to
put into the JavaSoft bug report.
