Hi all,

   It'll probably sound trivial for most of you, but I've just installed

jdk1.1.6 in my Linux box and I got the following error when running:

$> cd $JDK_HOME; appletviewer demo/GraphLayout/example1.html
SIGSEGV   11*  segmentation violation
        stackbase=0xbffff540, stackpointer=0xbffff444

   The linux is a Slackware 3.5 (kernel 2.0.34), with jdk1.1.6, and

$> ldconfig -D | grep libc
        libc.so.5 => libc.so.5.4.44
$> ldconfig -D | grep ld
        ld-linux.so.1 => ld-linux.so.1.9.9
$>xdpyinfo |grep 'release number'
        vendor release number:    3320

  Thanks for any help,

    Nelson
