Hello! I asked this about 1 mounth ago but got no answer. In the meantime I did some additional tests. When I run a Corba Server implemeted with Java1.2 on my Linux box I cant get a connection from any other non-linux machine (I don't have a 2nd linux machine here for a test). Connecting the nameservice works fine and using IOR-Strings did not change anything. I tried it from Win98 Java client Win98 omniORB 2.7.1 client Solaris Java client It worked from Linux java client Linux omniORB client Also worked: Linux omniORB server with all clients mentioned above Please correct me, but I think there is a problem with the Java1.2 CORBA implementation. I am really sorry to ask as so many other: When will the next release of linux-java1.2 be available? Any patches? Any workarounds? I need to have access from Win32 :-( Can I provide some additional information?
