        I just fixed the exact same problem. Go get jdk-1.1.6 from
blackdown. It will work (take the latest version).

        If you are a user of jfc, it will get broken. Because, for some
reason, .jar files written in a later version are broken. To fix this,
find a box that is able to decompress it (jar works almost exactly as tar,
so to extract, just type jar xfv file_name.jar).

        Then zip it. You will be able to read the .zip file and put it in
your CLASSPATH...
