position of java applications starting up.

Hi,

i was wondering if it is possible to set the position of
a java GUI once it starts up. Whenever i run a application
it starts up in the corner of the screen.

I presume it is a windows manager problem, but am not to sure.

I am running redhat 5.1 with kde 1.0.
