I should be clear: SUN doesn't do ports of Java 2 to Linux. The Blackdown
porting team does (see http://java.blackdown.org).
I'm trying to get pre-release 2 put together as we've made HUGE advances in
many areas that are affecting a lot of users with pre-release 1. Hopefully
sometime within the next couple of weeks it will be ready for release.
