Bluntly, who cares what RMS thinks?

Linux and the Open Source movement are great - but they work off the
idea of hackish rewards, and to some extent fame as a reward.  But
neither of those things pay the bills.

Current law (and I'd wager a great deal of programmer opinion) supports
copyright of software; the ease of copying software virtually mandates
some form of intrinsic protection - and so obfuscators are one solution
in Java.

Basically, if *I* create software, *I* should decide if it's free or not,
and not anyone else.
