I was able to get the SwingSet demo working for the jdk 1.2 on linux by applying the suggestions for bug fixes: * only using green threads ;( * not using the JIT * adding the symbolic link for libstdc++ So, the symbolic link fix works for 6.0 as well as 5.2. This is wonderful. I'm glad I don't have to use msdos to write java programs. Yay!
