My company, Servlets.Net Corporation (www.servlets.net), hosts Java Servlet
solutions using the Blackdown 1.1.7 JDK on Red Hat Linux 5.2. I was
recently asked by a potential customer if their servlets that use Java 2D to
generate images will work. We have not actually done any work or testing
with Java 2D, so I was hoping someone could help answer these questions:
1. I know that Java 2D comes with Java 2. But can it also work with Java
1.1.7?
2. Will the Blackdown 1.2 pre-release version be reliable enough that this
customer could use it for generating Java 2D images from a servlet?
3. Has anyone tested any Java 2D code with the Blackdown 1.2 pre-release?
