Hi guys, as there are some confused users on the mailing list, I want to submit this report. I have had no problems using the jidl IDL compiler from the ORBacus 3.1.2 ORB and compiling the java stuff with the ordinary JDK ORB. I only tested a small example, no bigger project. But it is a good starting point. If you are interested in more information I could play around with different IDL files and test jidl with JDK1.2 on more complex interfaces.
