Not having played with JavaMail API yet, I would assume you get
the Solaris package, extract the archive, put the jar files in your
classpath and follow the Solaris instruction for anything else.
This should work (I dont think JavaMail has native code inside, so
the Solaris version is adequate enough).
The Windows archives often use a binary installer executable, so
look inside the archive, if there is a jar file you can use.
