A week of frustration and still we are unable to run any of the demos on our
Blackdown 1.2 installation. Here is the error:
[root@plum Simple]# java SimpleExample
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/swing/JPanel
at java.lang.Throwable.<init>(Throwable.java:40)
at java.lang.Error.<init>(Error.java:21)
at java.lang.LinkageError.<init>(LinkageError.java:21)
at
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError.<init>(NoClassDefFoundError.java:21)
We are able to compile and run simple hello world text scripts.
The docs say no environment vars are required (except the path to java
itself.) But of course we have tried setting and unsetting with no result.
Any suggestions.
