Hi all, I setup the Java 1.1.5 for Linux on a Redhat 5.1 machine. There was no problem until I discovered that swing or other standart AWT component dont work on Redhat 5.1. Actually it compiles the code correctly, but when I execute it, a normal sized window appears but inside instead of buttons there are gray-rectangles and a frozen window.When I tried to use the swing on Linux, it gave me same result. Did u face the similar thing? If yes can u give the solution please?
