Folks,

I'm trying to get jrun administrator started on my blackdown
jdk1.2 on linux redhat 6.0 with Apache. As I've indicated, I have
only remote, no graphics access, to this machine. (Although, I believe
there is an xserver running on the console of this box.)

When I try to execute the startamin.sh script in the
jsm-default directory the
com.livesoftware.jrunadmin.JRunAdmin.setUILookAndFeel method is
attempting to initialize graphics which fails because I have no
DISPLAY set.

I asked live softwear technical support about this and all
they said was:

> I checked with one of our engineers and he mentioned that you would
> have to do it manually. In chapter 4 of our documentation should
> explain how to change each folder. Please let me know if you have
> any other inquires.

Are they saying here I can't use the remote configuration tool
and that I must do all configuration manually if I don't have access
to graphics on the machine?

                Brent Allsop
