I've successfully installed JMF2.0ea in Linux RH 6.0 system. I think
everything works well with JDK 1.1.7_v3. I think you should try some JIT
compiler like tya, since codecs need lots of CPU and without jit I just
managed to see some frames of the media clip. BTW JMF2.0ea works better
with JDK 1.1.7 and Swing than with JDK 1.2pre-v2. Does your soundcard work
under Linux?
