It doesn't seem likely. Although you can do whatever you want in native
code, the problem is getting the resource identifiers you need - the X
Display* structure and Window IDs being used by the applet. Java gives
you no way to get that information... it's mentioned somewhere as a goal
for future enhancement, but there's no sign of it yet.
