Netscape doesn't support JDK1.2 with its built-in JRE. You *might* be
using the Java Plug-in (runs a new JRE with an existing browser) on
those other platforms, although I can't tell without seeing the HTML.
Unfortunately, Java Plug-in is not available for Linux.
