Can you be more specific about the "lot of problem"?

Bzip2 is pretty normal itself: it's included in most or all Linux
distributions, it's been around for several years, it's available for
many operating systems, its distribution is hosted by the well-known and
reliable Cygnus Solutions (http://sourceware.cygnus.com/bzip2/), and it
saves significant space and bandwidth over using zip or gzip.

If bzip2 is not working correctly, you might want to send a note to the
author: see the information on the distribution page at Cygnus
Solutions.
