I have had no luck downloading the JDK 1.1.8 from IBM. Connection to
alphaWorks site is fine.
I set a MIME type in Netscape as
Description: GNUZiped File
Mime Type: application-x/compressed
Suffixes: .gz .tgz
and checked the "save to disk" radio button.
No luck. After completing the reg form and license agreement, the next screen
just hangs. No download.
Is there any way to FTP direct to this site and download using standard FTP.
