Sometime, i think in December 1999, there was suggested, in one of Sun's
news blurbs, that you were going to unveil a different JDK licensing
model.
I am in the hope that thie new model, would allow me to continue porting
the JDK1.2 & JDK1.1.x series on to the alpha/linux.
As you may be aware, that I am currently the only person ( ever ) to
have ported JDK 1.2 for alpha/linux ( ~jan 1999 ), and jdk1.1.x ( for
years )
Is there going to be any news as to what this new model will be, or when
it will be publically announced ?
