Anybody written a jni lib for ViaVoiceOutloud which works with the Java interface of ViaVoice, I would also need an interface to the mixer, since the system should "dim" a playing CD if it tells me about an error coming up on some of my machines. Also dimming the voice or cd automatically before/while taken commands would help. I didn't see anything in JSAPI which does this, they seem to be under the impression that a system is busy just recognizing speech and the device to be busy/locked, guess they didn't use Linux. Anyway my German accent seems to be hard enough :-) and I don't need the system talking or playing music loudly while I talk. Using the mixer via mouse click will not be an option, since the system loudspeakers and mic are remote. Anyway, if somebody has written the libs and is willing to share let me know. Or maybe I can help, if you have only parts implemented.
