I got the following paper at a tutorial(*1) with
ICS'99(*2). The tutorial is the same as one held with
1999 Java Grande Conference(*3), I suppose.

(*2) http://www.csrd.uiuc.edu/ics99/
(*3) http://www.cs.ucsb.edu/conferences/java99/
Aart J. C. Bik, Milind Girkar, and Mohammad R. Haghighat,
"Incorporating Intel(R) MMX(TM) Technology Into a Java(TM) JIT Compiler"
accepted for special issue "Scientific Programming" journal
(high performance Java Compilation and Run-time Issues).
I have only a printed paper.
It is listed on the publications page of one of the authors:
http://www.wi.leidenuniv.nl/home/ajcbik/pub.html
But a printable file isn't provided there.
