Hi I have a 686 and am running suse6.4, am running a small web server on it. I have a jar file in it that has a few html files and a few applets. (applets in jdk1.2 compiled with jdk1.2.2) When I open a html file in a web browser on a different machine (it is a win nt machine and has jdk1.3 plugin)and that html I opened has an applet tag in it, browser starts running the applet and then sudeenly stops. netscape browsers java console showed an error that said javax.swing.SwingUtilities class not found. IE browsers java console showed an error instantiation exception I am using Japplet and JButton in the applet. Can somebody tell me why I might be getting these errors.
