IMHO, Forte is best when you have to design GUIs, it's just click and drop then - I also wouldn't like to miss the GridBagLayout editor, which makes it very easy to get all the parameters of the GridBagLayout right, although the preview of the gui is not always correct. Forte also handles ActionListeners, you just have to supply the code. On the whole Forte is very usable, and stable - i have been working with Forte for 3 months now without crash. In my experience, memory is god in java - the more the better. 256MB are ideal - forte is reasonably fast then.. Thats all, ..cu Jörg _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
