JDialogs (and Dialogs as well) have not worked well under Linux for a long
time. The behaviour is
described by the sun bug #4392518 which is marked as fixed in merlin beta
but still exists under
both the sun and blackdown 1.3.1 jdks. Code that demonstrates this bug is
attached to this
message. Can anyone tell me if there is any effor being done to fix this
under 1.3.1 or is there
a work around for it. This bug is not limited to kde by the way, it also
appears under WindowMaker
and probably other window managers as well.
