how can I get start on JAVA 3D?

Hi,

 I'll study in 3D programming on JAVA, there's two choices I known. One is Wildtangent 
the other one is
Java 3D, you know, I wanna become a 3D game programmer, that's my favor. 

but i meet  a touble, how can i get start it?  somebody could show me a way?
