Hello everyone,

I guess that this was asked before but.. Is there any hope to see
a JDK more recent than 1.3.0 for SparcLinux? I'm specifically looking for
1.3.1 (or mmore recent, I guess).. I am just a java user but I have some
apps which require 1.3.1 and don't run on 1.3.0 (I'm using the
j2sdk-1.3.0-1.sparc rpm on RH6.2).. If you're looking for testers, please
don't hesitate to count me in.. Is there anything else that might help? I
understand that the J2SDK source is under NDA so I guess we (the sparc
linux community) cannot help for the port but at least we might be able to
help with the Beta.. Speaking for myself, I have access to a few
RH6.2/Sparc machines and on RH7.2/Sparc (Aurora 0.2) machine.. Any
comments? Jos?

On a side note: Just out of curiosity, how tough is it to porta JDK to a
different Linux arch? Are there many things that need to be modified?
