I saw a post back in June 2001 referring to a JDK release
not yet being available and saying it would take a couple weeks to run the
tests. Has this become available yet? We are porting a pretty large J2SE application to the StrongArm processor on an iPaq
3800 and have linux, x-windows, and the j2re1.3.1-RC1
working; however, we have a library that accesses our database that we use via
JNI and our database guy has asked me to find him the necessary lib’s and
headers which generally exist in the JDK.
I only see a full JDK for linux/i386, which I assume isn’t
compatible with arm. We don’t mind it being somewhat unstable since
I’ve already managed to get Familiar 5.1 on the 3800 and for the most
part everything else running that we’ve wanted for a proof on concept by
end of week. Forgive me if there’s already an answer out there that
