Hi all
If i run a graphical Java application on my SA1000 which runs
Linux version 2.4.18-rmk3 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 2.95.3 20010315
(release)) with 8-bit color depth framebuffer, then the application has about
7 minutes to start up. But if i run the same application with a 16-bit color
depth, the startup takes only about 1 minute. What does the JVM do within
this 6 minutes?
Does it calculate a color cube or someting else?

If this is so, can i reduce this time in some way. E.g. save the color cube
and reload it for the next time.

Thank you for any hints.

Daniel
