Hello,

I've tested the java 1.3.1 for the ARM platform but it's a bit too slow for my Sharp
Zaurus SL5600 (Xscale PXA-250 400Mhz, 32M of RAM).
I would like to recompile the JVM against the glibc 2.3.2 libraries with Xscale
optimisation, nojit and green threads.
I "think" green threads will be less resource intensive for this embedded device. same
assumption for the jit.

I've downloaded the java 1.3.1 source from Sun. I've followed this readme ->
http://www.blackdown.org/java-linux/docs/faq/README/1.2/README.linux.src but I can't
find the diff file. Do I need the patch?

I've tried to use the Xscale JVM release (ftp://yrls.net/pub/blackdown/) but I receive
a "R_ARM_PC24 relocation out of range" error when Java attempts to load libawt.so.
This release is compiled against glibc 2.3.1 with native threads.

Regards,
Ced.
